GEOFF WALKER

Musical Director, Hi Lo Singers

Geoff is the MD of Hi Lo Singers. He has sung in most of London's top concert halls, in cathedrals across the country and on TV and film soundtracks (including The Crown and Good Omens) as well as for celebrated operatic tenor Andrea Bocelli at the O2. An experienced sound editor, Geoff sees every project through from start to finish; sourcing the perfect voices for each project, working with singers to ensure top class results and preparing stems for music supervisors and composers.

Geoff is also an experienced choral director and leads a number of chamber choirs, as well as being Assistant Musical Director of Rowantree Choir. He is an organist and pianist. Geoff can produce choral arrangements and can provide a score transcription service on request.

EMMA SECHER

Co-Director, Hi Lo Singers

Emma is a soprano and has sung in most of London's premier concert halls and venues and under the baton of such esteemed conductors as Vladimir Jurowski, Marin Alsop and Edward Gardner.  She has backed Bocelli and Morricone at the O2 and appeared on recordings for TV series, such as Good Omens, as well as performing live on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM broadcasts. With a background in primary education, Emma also fixes young voices and has provided the singers for such notable projects as Peppa Pig: My First Movie and Peppa Pig: My First Album.

With a wealth of contacts across the industry, Emma enjoys providing the perfect set of singers for each project. She is always on the look out for new up and coming talent! 

Emma, who has a background in primary education, also specialises in sourcing young voices and has provided the singers for such notable projects as Peppa Pig: My First Album as well as projects for BMG and Oliver Davis.

Lindsey

Lindsey is a VOCES8 Scholar and a Genesis Sixteen graduate. She has sung in venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Cadogan Hall, and the Queen Elizabeth Hall, and has performed in operas and choral programmes at the Ryedale and Chiltern Arts Festivals. Elsewhere, Lindsey provided backing vocals for the debut albums of Alexander Armstrong and Wovoka Gentle, has sung live on BBC Radio, and participated in a flash mob-style performance for Art on the Underground 2020. As a qualified teacher, Lindsey also directs choirs, and offers private instrumental and academic tuition.

Sarah D

Sarah is a soprano with years of experience singing choral music, both sacred and secular, with choirs of all sizes. She has sung in prestigious venues such as London's Royal Festival Hall, the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, and Oxford's University Church of St Mary the Virgin, and performed in choirs alongside well-known conductors and musicians such as Marin Alsop and Lesley Garrett.

Sarah H

Sarah is a highly sought after soprano. She specialised in voice at college and has performed in a multitude of venues from Snape Maltings concert hall to Oxford Street's 100 Club. A highly versatile singer, Sarah is equally at home performing close harmony boogie-woogie, solo singing at large public events and pure ethereal backing vocals for demos.

Marianne

Marianne is an in-demand session vocalist and qualified music therapist, trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has toured with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Andrea Bocelli and Hans Zimmer, sung in the BBC Proms and in other prestigious venues such as the Barbican and the Royal Festival Hall, London and the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester. She has also recorded at Abbey Road, Air Studios, British Grove Studios and Assault & Battery Studios for the BBC, Disney and high profile artists such as Frank Turner.

Bob

Bob began his musical life as a choral scholar at St John’s College, Cambridge. He is a former member of the Monteverdi Choir and has wide experience as a soloist in opera and oratorio, as a principal with Duchy Opera and with the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company and in productions at the Edinburgh Festival. He has sung in cathedral choirs in Edinburgh and Truro. He has performed with Ray Davies on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury and toured with Noel Gallagher and Hans Zimmer. He is an experienced session singer and has recorded in most of the leading London recording studios, recently singing on the soundtracks of BBC’s ‘Good Omens’ and of the film ‘Rocket Man’.

Nathan

A former chorister of Cambridge University, Nathan now sings with multiple high profile London choirs. He has performed all over the world from the Netherlands to Australia, Canada and USA, and at various prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Westminster Abbey and St Paul's Cathedral. He is an experienced studio singer and has recorded a wide range of music from small group a capella arrangements to large scale works with full orchestra and choir in studios such as Abbey Road Studios.

Ed

Ed is an experienced singer and performer with a degree in music from Bangor University and a graduate of Morley College Opera Course. He has undertaken principal roles in a wide range of productions from opera to musical theatre, most recently as Caiaphas in Jesus Christ Superstar and Sir Despard in Gilbert & Sullivan's Ruddigore. He is much in demand as both a singer and guitarist. 

Ivan

Ivan has sung in venues across the world, first as a Winchester Cathedral chorister, and more recently as a tenor in various London-based choirs. He has recorded for BBC’s Good Omens, sung backing vocals for Ray Davies and was the voice of a Cadbury’s advertising campaign. He’s sung at the O2 with Andrea Bocelli and performed at a variety of BBC Proms.

Martha

Martha moved to London to study music in 2012. She is a keen singer of Early, Folk and Contemporary music. Martha has sung all over London with various choirs. Singing with the Multi-Story Orchestra and Public Service Broadcasting in the BBC Proms was a particular career highlight. Martha is an early years practitioner and teacher and composes and performs music with and for children in South London.

Matt

A tenor, Matt is a freelance performer and Voces8 Scholar. He holds a first class music degree from Canterbury, where he was the recipient of the Elizabeth Vogan Award for outstanding singers, and a Vocal Performance Masters from Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance as a Kathleen Creed Scholar. 

Isabelle

Isabelle

Isabelle trained at the Royal College of Music Junior Department and went on to hold a choral scholarship at Gonville & Caius College Cambridge, as well as the National Youth Chamber Choir of Great Britain. She has sung in concert venues ranging from the Royal Albert Hall to the 606 Club, has toured China, France and America with various choirs, and has experience of performing for radio and television.

Lee

Lee

Lee is a versatile rock, pop and gospel singer with over twenty years of live experience and has graced the stage at Latitude, Bestival, the O2, Roundhouse and Koko to name but a few. As well as solo performances she has sung with several choirs including Singology and Gospeloke, of which she is a regular choir leader. Lee has sung as a session singer for major brands including Sony, Heineken, Red Bull and Eurostar.

Hannah

Hannah loves singing both on her own and in her school choir. She has been learning piano since the age of five and, more recently, flute. This year she starred in a local production of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. She features as a soloist on BMG's Kids on the Mic album, shortly to be released by Deep East Music. Hannah enjoys football, netball and cricket and is a blue belt in Taekwondo.

Phoebe

Phoebe sings with one of London's top auditioned children's choirs. She has sung on Peppa Pig: My First Album and Peppa Pig: My First Cinema Experience and BMG's Kids on the Mic album, shortly to be released by Deep East Music. She features in EV Crowe's upcoming short film. Phoebe's other hobbies include ballet, drawing and playing with her gerbils.

Sam

Sam has always loved singing and music from a very young age. A chorister at York Minster, Sam sings in at least four services a week plus concerts and recordings. Away from ecclesiastical circles, he regularly acts in musical theatre and is currently working towards grade 5 singing, grade 4 piano, and grade 1 French horn. He features alongside Grace Davidson and our other treble Benedict on the track Narcissus and Echo from Oliver Davis' album Solace.

Benedict

Benedict is a chorister at St Alban's Cathedral where he has sung since the age of 8. He is a passionate singer and performer. When not singing, he enjoys playing and improvising on the piano and double bass. He features as a soloist on Sun Stands Still from Oliver Davis' new album Solace and alongside Grace Davidson and our other treble Sam on Narcissus and Echo on the same album.
